5k Foam Fest has 22 of some of the best and most exciting Obstacles in the world including the worlds largest inflatable waterslide, slip and slides, and mucky mud pits! Is there any swimming required?

Most water based obstacles are only a few feet deep! If you feel you shouldn't do an obstacle for any reason our staff will help you around it. All obstacles are optional!

What is The 5K Foam Fest?

The 5K Foam Fest is a one of kind Obstacle Course based Fun run. With a variety of obstacles and a ton of foam the run is an exciting challenge for experienced and beginner runners alike. The 5K Foam Fest is not a hardcore run it is a FUNCORE run. Walk it, Charge it, Run it, Fun it! A festival atmosphere offering activities for all ages.

Does the 5K Foam Fest align with any charities?

Yes, we have aligned ourselves with local Food Banks across the country! We believe in actively supporting our local communities and contributing to organizations and groups that support causes close to our hearts.

What sets the 5K Foam Fest apart from other runs?

Our number one priority is the customer experience! We really emphasize a friendly fun-filled day that caters to each and every one of our participants!! Our pricing is affordable so that either an individual, family or group you can come out and enjoy a full day of fun with custom features, a fun atmosphere and memories to last a lifetime!

Do I have to complete all obstacles?

Can't swim? A little nervous about being able to complete an obstacle? No problem! Staff and volunteers are placed throughout the course. They are ready to leap into action and help you through an obstacle. Or, if you feel you shouldn't do an obstacle for any reason our staff will help you around it. All obstacles are optional.

Can my child do the run?

All children must be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable to complete the course with proper course etiquette.

  • 8 to 12 years must run with a Registered Adult. Parents must use proper judgement and help the youngsters decide on what obstacles to do or not based on their ability, size and confidence level. Event waiver(s) must be signed by the child's legal guardian.
  • 13+ years do not require an adult chaperone, but must adhere to all course rules and regulations. Event waiver(s) must be signed by the child's legal guardian. Waivers are available to download off our website (go to your event location page to download and print).
  • 7 years and under cannot run the 5k Foam Fest, but they can join us for FREE in our Kids FUN Zone, where they can try out our mini Inflatable Obstacle Course and Bounce House (adult supervision required). Waiver(s) must be signed by the child's legal guardian. Event waivers are available to download off our website (go to your event location page to download and print).

Do children receive a discount?

Kids 8 and up who are registering to run the course are charged the same price and receive the same full experience of the 5K Foam Fest that adults do. Kids 7 and under receive FREE access to our kids zone with a registered adult. We offer a family pass for $200 plus taxes/fee that is good for up to 5 immediate family members (2 adults and up to 3 kids under the age of 18). The family pass is available as a ticket option when registering, no promo code is required.

What should I wear?

We encourage people to get crazy and creative and come in just about anything. All we ask is no cleats or sharp objects since a good portion of our course is inflatables, of course, and we wouldn't want one to go POP!

What time should I show up at the event?

We ask all participants to plan to arrive 1 hour ahead of your scheduled wave time and head to the Registration and Festival Zone. Once you've been checked in and assigned your bib feel free to mingle in the Festival Zone while waiting for your heat.

How long will the run take a participant to complete?

The average person takes about an hour to an hour and a half to complete the course. The run itself is designed to avoid congestion on the course with a heated wave system running every 15 minutes in desirable numbers. This gives each and every participant a chance to experience The 5K Foam Fest at its best possible state!

How many people attend a day at The 5K Foam Fest?

We cap our registration numbers at 5000 people so that we can really focus on the participant experience. We never want our participants waiting in lines and not getting the full effect that 5K Foam Fest has to offer.

Where do we find the photos after the event?

Smile! Photos from the event will be edited and uploaded as soon as possible. Photos will be sorted and available for download within 1 week of the event. Please remember to wear your bib on the front so that we can capture your number for sorting. You can access all published photos by clicking on the Photos menu at the top of this page and then search for your photos by bib # and/or wave time.

Can I register at the run?

Once waves are filled we can no longer accept registrations. If there are still openings you are welcome to register the day of but remember it is not guaranteed that there will be open wave times. Day of registration will cost $85.00. We suggest registering early, the sooner you sign up the more money you save on registration!

What if it rains on event day?

The 5K Foam Fest is a rain or shine event. Unless we've contacted you to tell you otherwise, assume the event is on regardless of weather conditions. Weather conditions that would cause us to postpone or cancel: lightning, high winds, tornadoes, forest fires, earthquakes, extreme hail or snow.

What should I bring to the run?

Bring yourself, some ID, your gear, and plan to get Foamy and muddy with a positive attitude as this is a judgment free zone so there is no need to be nervous. We can't stress enough that this is YOUR run and we want YOU to have as much fun as possible!

A few extra things we suggest include:

  • Money for parking ($10)
  • A change of clothes
  • A towel to dry yourself off
  • Some SPF for those fair skinned beauties
  • Waterproof camera/action cam to capture your funny and memorable moments
  • Garbage bags for your car seats (trust us, the mud may come home with you!)

Where can I store my things?

We have gear check on-site and is available by donation ($5 Minimum)! All proceeds go to the local food bank.

Can journalists run for free?

Does The 5K Foam Fest need volunteers?

As we continuously grow and expand our locations, the demand for staff also increases. Please email info@the5kfoamfest.com for information on volunteering. We really appreciate people taking the day to come out and support our events, so THANK YOU!

What else do I need to know?

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a download link to your Registrant Information Package and Waiver Form. Please review these and have your waiver printed and signed for the day of the run. If you have registered but did not download these items, please download the specific forms for your run locations.

Registration FAQs

I have a typo on my registration form.

Oops! We can help fix that up for you! Send us an email at info@the5kfoamfest.com with the edit that is required and we will make the update for you. Please allow 48 hours for updates to take place.

How do I receive my tickets?

Your confirmation email is your ticket. Please either keep a copy on your digital device or print a copy and bring it with you, along with your ID. We check you in digitally at the event and do not require a paper copy if you have it handy on your device.

I didn't receive my registration confirmation.

If you did not receive your registration confirmation you can login to your registration account to view it or print it off anytime. Find out how to access your confirmation details here.

How do I activate my promo code?

Go to the event page and click register, then click individual or Join a Team and enter your promo code in the upper right hand corner. Do not checkout without entering your promo code or we will not be able to help you. If you are having problems entering your promo code please email info@the5kfoamfest.com

What if the wave time I want is full?

Generally, our wave times fill up quickly. For that reason, we suggest that if you want to run as a group to sign up early! If your wave time is full, but some of your team members have not signed up yet, we suggest switching your wave time to an open wave time that can accommodate all of your team members. See below on how to change your wave time.

How do I change my wave time?

Please send an email to info@the5kfoamfest.com with the following info:

  • Full names of all registrants who require time change
  • Team name (if applicable)
  • Preferred new wave time

Once your wave time has been adjusted you will receive a new confirmation email from us.

Can I transfer my ticket to a different location?

You bet! To transfer to another event location go to My Tickets and select Transfer and follow the prompts. There is a $15 transfer fee to transfer your ticket to another event. We cannot make changes after 5:00 pm EST (Eastern Standard Time) the Friday before the run..

How many people can be on a team?

There's no limits on the size of teams!

How do I join or create a team after registering?

Go to eventbrite.com and login using the email address used to regster and select the Your Tickets option and select the event. Then locate Join a Team or Create a Team at the top of your registration details and follow the prompts!

Do you offer a special rate for Military and First Responders?

Military, Police, Fire, EMS and Coast Guard receive reduced rates, including your family (partner/kids). PROOF OF SERVICE REQUIRED. Please provide your Badge/ID# when registering and bring a copy to the event to check in.
