This year, 365 Sports is teaming up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the official charitable partner for 5K Foam Fest 2022. What Is the Make-A-Wish Foundation?
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a nonprofit organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Since its inception in 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 500,000 wishes to children in over 50 countries. They are truly dedicated to making every child’s wish come true.
Why the Make-A-Wish Foundation?
There are a number of reasons why we’ve chosen to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Let’s take a closer look at these below.

A wish can be extremely powerful. In fact, research shows that these wishes can even help kids fight their illnesses. In 2015, Make-A-Wish Israel conducted a study to see how granting wishes affects the medical outcomes of children battling critical illnesses. Incredibly, the results showed that the wish-granting experiences actually boosted the participants’ physical and emotional health. Don’t underestimate the power of a wish!

The results of the above study also showed that having their wishes granted increased the children’s hope, which is essential when battling an illness.
